But we’ve programmed a society of unethical systems and inequitable customs that doesn’t value artists and storytellers. Creative spirits are stifled - anxious and depressed and uncertain because they’ve been told that their dreams aren’t possible. Their wild imaginations aren’t something to be prized, but something to be culled through cruelty and ruthless competition. Teachers, directors, leaders, and even other artists cut people down, inflicting creative wounds that many people never heal from.
